Reasons why you shouldn't buy a iPhone

First thing first, my dad owns a iPhone so dont call me a fanboy or whatever it is...I like iPhone but it's just something that made me think that Apple's 1st phone is NOT a good approach. It does have cool feature and nice-looking UI but it lost some important features of what a phone should have.

1. It's locked by default unless you buy from Maxis or other providers and includes data plan which will cost you more.

2. If you want the 2G model, think about it....when you think EDGE and 3G sucks this time, what if you ARE NOT in a wi-fi zone? you probably will get pwned by those low cost phones which doesnt have Wi-fi and has 3G.

3. Full touch interface. iPhone got a very poor reception on Asia Countries, because of it's non-stylus interface. Well I do admit touching using fingers are much cooler but when it comes to handwriting....it sucks. I tried using toothpick to write and the screen wont recognize the toothpick at all? now that's sad.

4. iTunes 4 Life. Well, if you want to manage files, delete contacts, add music, delete files, move, copy or paste files, it's ALL iTunes's work. This phone doesnt come with a.....File Manager. Even a goddamn 5300 and low-cost phones has that shit.

5. No Keyboard. Well IMO not having keyboards on a phone that is amazing like iPhone doesnt come with keys!? the on-screen QWERTY is sad (believe me, I tried it before) and when it comes to gaming, playing a game with touchscreen is not the way to get good results. One of the examples are when playing Java Games. Nokia has a virtual keypad on the bottom of the screen but that is also...not really good when playing games.

6. Jailbreak or Locked. Well IF you buy iPhone before Maxis brings it in, 100% your iPhone is Jailbreaked. Which cause-> Warranty Void.

7. Camera. iPhones comes with a 2.0MP Camera with NO Flash, No AutoFocus, No Red Eye Reduction and worst....NO Video Recording. damn even a K750i can record a video...

8. Jailbreaked iPhone->NOT STABLE......Well my dad has infact....2 iPhones and I saw he face software problems...wi-fi cannot activate....lalal.....that is SAD

9. The Cost. Now Maxis offers iPhone in a price of 2.5k+ WITHOUT DATA PLAN, you can buy a iPhone in local stores (Jailbreaked) in....1.6-2k. Well it's only the phone, If you want accesories (headphones, stuffs) ADD $$....S.A.D. can't they just COME with the phone?

10. Can't be a 3G Modem, almost every phone out there can be hooked to a laptop and act as a GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSDPA modem. Not true for the iPhone, and probably iPhone 3G as well. If you want to surf with your laptop in a non-WiFi area, better carry a 3G modem with you, or you're out of luck.

11. you CANT send files over using Bluetooth. HAH? and no Bluetooth Syncing with PC too, even a MAC.

If you want an alternative, why dont you peoples hunt for HTC Touch Pro 2? or HTC Touch Diamond 2? Nokia N97? Google Android? Samsung Omnia HD? and some other phones which is infact has done correctly?

Recently I'm told that theres 3.0 firmware for iPhone. I checked it out, what it does is..faster speed, can cut and paste texts (LOL), video recording, can be a modem..and still...no....PC...synchronization...

Oh yea and talking about the announced iPhone 3G S. Well an S menas that theres 3.2 Megapixels Camera with auto-focus and..no flash. faster processor others are not important though...

Computer Revived, New Setup, New Windows and FASTER rawr

Last week my PC died...and I waited like days for my parents to take me to Boulevard to see PC Parts....then I saw 2 new CM 690 cases...(not unboxed yet) so I checked one of them and I bought it for RM 319. I'm impressed straight after seeing the case. After got back to home...well my brother started to mess with the case and install hard disks and stuffs inside it first....well the motherboard is BLOWN XD. And after days again....I bought P5N-D....based on nForce 750i...thats a board that I'm looking for like months. Well I bought it from Techkie House for 450. Thats a hell of a good board. Overclock! xD and my brother installed the motherboard into the case and WE THOUGHT the Pc should start fine. But after installing it, we found that theres no display...dang then we confirmed that it's Graphics Card's problem....well my X1950 just gone =/ then the next day before going to a wedding ceremony....I and my bro went to IT Computer (not that shitty Superstore laaaaaahh...) and we bought a 9800GT (Low-power edition) which doesnt need 6-pin connector from power supply and its only downclocked 50MHz which is TINY lol. then after went back home, installed the graphics card...then we waited for the next day to format the PC...Ahh well now I'm using Windows 7 RC1 (build 7100). The happiest part is overclock! I managed to overclock my E2160 (Stock clock: 1.8GHz) to 3.0GHz with 1333FSB and 1.5V (Stock Voltage). Thinking of going to 3.2GHz but I just dont wanna try it...lol...the Windows 7 rating on my processor just shoots up from 5.5 to 6.3 LOL....thats a E8400 XD. And I also downloaded eVGA Precision Tweaking Utility for overclocking my Graphics Card. Ahh well at first I managed to Clock it to 600MHz which is the Original Clock of a 9800GT but I gone further.....650MHz and its running 42 degree to 55 degree. not bad for a start xD. Need For Speed Undercover FPS shoots up from 65 to 78....now thats HUGE =)

Tests and...things about my PC

soo Semester Test has begun...nothing special except you get a new place, no bags in your sight and no pencilcase and professional-looking test papers...oh well since yesterday until now I finished Moral, and 3 BM tests (all writing) and its pissing me off already..=/ I just love when back then we have objective questions which if we dont understand just SHOOT but now..all writing. I dont know but I felt weird when I write BM..I just don't get used to write BM composition..I can't believe that I can't think a single word called TINGGI dammit...but oh well thanks to JJJ =) but overall its okay...Tomorrow? Chinese...yeaahhh screw it...I HATE CHINESE...ENGLISH FTW! And that's all for today's (TESTS) topic

Oh well as y'all readers can see that recently my PC's mainboard just gone failure (no display in 1st PCI-Express Slot) so my dad advised me to take out the mainboard and go claim warranty from IT Computer (I was happy that it's not bought from IT Superstore since they dont give a damn about warranties) so according to my brother...he gave it to David and my brother briefly explained the problem and then it goes to them for the warranty...now just wait =)

And the happy thing is my grandpa is there and after my bro told him about my Computer Case problem (it's a OEM Compaq Case, 6 years old..I dont really feel happy because my mainboard is a ATX mainboard and the prev. is M-ATx which is smaller and we are forced to EXCHANGE the case with my other PC which is OLD and slow...but now it receives a Cooler Master Centurion 590 Case) and my grandpa agreed to buy Cooler Master Centurion 5 (with transparent side) ATX case..but only after when the mainboard is back...ahh I'm happy...Now I can install more CCFLS and LED fans on it (Cooler Master/Zalman ONLY!)

It's a good news =) Next Aim? Core 2 Extreme or probably Quad =P plus DDR2-800s

School Day and Problems regarding my PC

Just got back from school.....awww yeah air-cond! I LOVE U! It's damn hot in school....especially when we are in hall..guess what? its so hot but the fans in the hall are all CLOSED! =.=

We are NOT having any class party....we are NOT having events today..just like...a normal day but no teacher teaching, less students, and fancy looking students and phones are allowed..thats all nothing special....but oh well...someone made jellies though...it tasted awesome and yet...looked awesome...almost all the time I was wasting my time on Calvin's HTC Wizard or my N73.....if its not movie-playing...then its games...Calvin brought his Digital-DSLR (stuck in between) camera...I gotta admit...DSLR LENS ARE AWESOME compared to...phones...except Carl Zeiss ones though...

Calvin visited my class and watching anime using his phone..im just playing Resident Evil: Degeneration in my N73 (N-GAGE platform) all day long..XD soo times passes by...Jamie entered our class and other "visitors" also appeared in my class...and time flies by AGAIN...and I gone photo-taking with my "Secondary Gang"..we posed like....weird? :O

Talking about...PC

my PC gone FAILURE last thursday...this is "how" it fails..

Playing Live For Speed with Calvin Chu after school...before study...drift...drift...drift and I felt tired and decided to go to pit...pitted...and suddenly my mouse pointer hanged! and I tried to press Numlock and it works! but after 2-3 seconds it hangs :O...then I force turning off my PC and decided to have my brother to take a look...and after several attempts..the PC still fails...and my brother decided to hear the voices of hardware to decide which hardware fails...and miserably...the graphics card! and he tried to NOT installing the graphics card...and the sounds are fine..and my bro is like O.O and he installed the graphics card (forgot to mention X1950PRO) to 2nd slot and it WORKED...the PC started...but theres something bugging me...

since my motherboard supports SLI which can install 2 graphics card (for nVIDIA) and my 1st slot failed....

1st slot: 16x
2nd slot: 4x

WHHHHAAAAAAATTTTT? square root of the performance I got in previous??

LFS FPS before fails: 130-150FPS
LFS FPS in 2nd slot PCI-Express: 30-40FPS

and today I decided to try Sims 2 running on 4x....hey it worked in the menus all are smooth...all until I entered my brother's house and....it lags miserably! after a few zoom-in and outs suddenly..BLACK SCREEN...and...computer resetted! LOL!

repair my motherboard? NO thats just plain dumb...upgrade PC? NO thats just going to continue my pentium dual core nightmare...buy a new one? HELL YES! why not quad-core and a ATI 4850?
